Trace an API endpoint to the code, data, and tests it touches

Evidence-backed API flow analysis. Blueprint API Flows covers Flask, FastAPI and Django REST Framework today.

BLUEPRINT IN ACTION · SOURCE-BACKED ENDPOINT EVIDENCE
Blueprint by RepoMine poster showing an example FastAPI endpoint and its eight-lane Flow diagram

See Blueprint in use. This silent demo shows a local scan, endpoint selection, its Flow diagram, and a link back to source. The poster shows a real FastAPI Flow from the extension. Open this Flow at full size ↗

Read the video steps
  1. Open a Python API project in VS Code.
  2. Find Blueprint in the Activity Bar.
  3. Review which files are in scope, then scan locally.
  4. Browse the endpoints found and choose one to explore its Flow diagram.
  5. Open the linked source beside the diagram.
  6. Send feedback to support@repomine.ca.

Backend & APIs

Routes, contracts, code decisions, service calls, consumers, and endpoint outcomes.

Blueprint API Flows — available now
PythonFlaskFastAPIDjango REST Framework

Django/DRF tracing is narrower than Flask and FastAPI. Blueprint marks details it cannot establish.

In development — not available yet
ExpressNestJSJavaSpringNext.js routes

Frontend consumers

Client-side API calls and the repository evidence connecting them to backend interfaces.

Available now
Code in the repository that calls the endpoint by its exact URL

Calls whose URL is built at runtime, generated clients and outside callers are not visible.

In development — not available yet
Framework-aware client tracing (React, Next.js, Vue, Angular)Callers with URLs built at runtime

Data & integrations

ORM operations, literal SQL and named queries where repository source establishes them.

Available now
SQLAlchemyDjango ORMaiosql named queriesLiteral SQL

Literal SQL is classified by statement type and table; the database engine is not identified. A table or model is named only when source declares it, and calls the scan cannot match are listed as unknown, so an empty data lane is not proof that nothing is written.

In development — not available yet
Java and JavaScript ORM effects (Hibernate / JPA, Prisma / TypeORM)Document-store and cache effects (MongoDB, Redis)Message-broker effects (Kafka, RabbitMQ)

Tests & validation

Tests linked to an endpoint by the source that calls it.

Available now
Tests that call the endpoint's exact URL

A listed test is a source reference, not evidence that it ran or passed.

In development — not available yet
Mapping tests to the source file that handles the endpointTest results and run statusBrowser and BDD step mapping
Evidence rule: status is capability-specific. Detecting a framework or technology does not establish a complete workflow; a stack moves to available only after its evidence and accuracy gates pass.
Why RepoMine

Evidence AI agents can use. Claims engineering teams can verify.

RepoMine separates what repository evidence supports from what remains unknown, then packages both for safer planning and validation.

01

Trace each reported connection

Reported dependencies and request or response contracts link back to the code that supports each claim.

02

Keep uncertainty visible

Unverified relationships remain explicit evidence gaps instead of being presented as confirmed facts.

03

Give AI agents source-backed evidence

Blueprint's optional, read-only VS Code agent tools return an endpoint's flow, including every unknown, to the agent you choose. VS Code asks for approval before they start, and nothing is shared unless you enable them.

Looking for early collaborators

Bring a real engineering use case. Help test what RepoMine can become.

Blueprint is available as a free public preview in the VS Code Marketplace. RepoMine is an independently built, founder-led product, and we are looking for engineering teams willing to try Blueprint on representative workflows and share candid feedback about where endpoint-flow evidence would be most useful.
